FAQ
Where are sessions held?
All sessions are held in-studio in Bermuda.
Working in a controlled studio environment allows me to create consistent, fine-art lighting and a refined aesthetic that brings out the best in every subject.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance whenever possible, as session availability is limited each month.
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 26–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and you’re still comfortable posing.
What types of sessions do you offer?
I specialize in fine-art portraits, couples, maternity, branding, and family/heirloom sessions.
Each is designed to create intentional, editorial-inspired imagery that tells your story and stands the test of time.
Can I include my partner my maternity session?
Absolutely!
Partners are always welcome to be part of your maternity session at no additional charge. If you wish to include children, other family members or explore a more artistic set, we can customize an Heirloom Experience to fit your vision.
How do I book a session?
You can book directly through the Contact page on my website.
Once you submit your inquiry, I’ll confirm your session type and date. A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required to secure your booking.
How many images will I receive?
Each package includes a set number of final, retouched images, depending on your session type.
You’ll review your proof gallery and select your favorites for retouching.
If you’d like more than what’s included in your package, additional retouched images are available for $35 each.
What is a proofing gallery?
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery within approximately 7–10 business days. This gallery contains a curated selection of lightly edited preview images. They are color-corrected but not yet retouched, and the backdrop or background will not be edited at this stage. You’ll use this gallery to select your favorite images for final editing.
Each chosen image is then hand-retouched with care, including the removal of distractions and polishing of the backdrop, to ensure every detail is refined and perfect for years to come. Your story is worth preserving, and I take great pride in ensuring it’s preserved to the highest quality!
Why don’t I receive all of the images?
My focus is always on quality over quantity.
Rather than providing hundreds of similar images, I curate your very best moments, the ones that hold emotion, light, and intention, then polish them to fine-art perfection.
Each final image you receive is intentionally chosen and carefully retouched to ensure it remains timeless and meaningful for years to come.
Can I purchase additional images?
Yes, of course!
Once you’ve reviewed your proofs, you can purchase additional retouched images for $35 each.
This gives you flexibility to expand your collection with your favorite moments while maintaining the same high-quality standard.
What does “retouched” mean?
Retouching is the detailed, professional editing process that transforms your selected images into their final fine-art form. This includes skin refinement, tone balancing, and removal of small distractions, as well as background and backdrop polishing — all while keeping your natural features and authenticity intact. The result is artwork that feels natural, refined, and timeless.
When will I receive my final images?
Final retouched images are delivered within 10–14 business days after you’ve submitted your selections from your proof gallery. Rush editing (3–5 business days) is available for an additional fee.
How do I receive my final images?
Your final images are delivered through a secure online gallery, available in both high-resolution (for printing) and web-size (for sharing) formats. You’ll be able to download and share your portraits directly from this dedicated gallery.
How do custom sets, florals, and creative designs work?
Some sessions call for simplicity — while others invite a more creative, editorial approach.
Classic sessions are photographed using clean, timeless backdrops designed to highlight you beautifully without distraction.
For Luxe and Bespoke Heirloom sessions, clients may choose to elevate their experience with custom set design. This can include textured backdrops, florals, sculptural elements, or curated props that bring a specific vision to life.
Because these creative elements are thoughtfully designed and sourced specifically for each session, custom sets and materials are quoted separately to ensure every experience is tailored with care and intention.
Creative design enhancements begin at $250 and vary based on scope and materials.
This approach allows each session to remain refined, intentional, and aligned with the artistry behind the work — while preserving the quality of your portraits for years to come.
